Therefore the floorcoverings had to be eyecatching, dynamic and very contemporary”.

“From a practical point of view they also had to withstand a lot of punishment from foot traffic and chair castors. We’ve also discovered that Mix tiles, being multi-directional, are quick and easy to fit and there’s hardly any waste. Because they’re batchless, individual tiles are easy to replace and there’s no need to worry about colours mismatching”.

Colour choice was critical, as Alison explained: “Everything has been carefully co-ordinated, even down to the paint colours which have been individually mixed. With so many carpet tile colourways to choose from, we’ve been able to bring the whole design scheme together, and provide the perfect complement to our new Maars partitioning and Broadstock furnishings”.
