Floorcovering for Wellington Junior School
Wellington Junior School, a prestigious, new independent school in Somerset, required a floorcovering that helps to create a stimulating environment without compromising on hygiene and durability. A total of 1,100 square metres of Flotex floorcovering have been laid in all of the classrooms, corridors, the Head Teacher’s study and the assembly hall. The entire job was completed in just one week. Now, inspiring designs fill the school. Particularly impressive is the main hall’s Catherine Wheel design, where assembly, gym and lunch take place. The great news is that not only does Flotex look good, it performs exceptionally well too. Renowned for its waterproof and stain-resisting qualities, it also has excellent acoustic properties. This makes it ideal for schools where pupils need to concentrate. David Capell, the school’s Clerk of Works, said: “When planning the interior decor for the school, we wanted to create a stimulating environment for the children.
